Nyngan Multipurpose Service - a great place to work
Nyngan Multipurpose Service (MPS) has a 2 bed emergency department, 36 residential aged care beds and 6 inpatient beds including general medicine, respite and palliative care.
A range of ambulatory, primary and community health care services are offered including inpatient renal dialysis three days a week and medical imaging.
The team at Nyngan are committed to providing safe, high quality person- centred care. Nyngan MPS won the inspiring team of the year across the District in 2018 for their commitment to quality and safety and in 2019 won the District's Patient Safety Award with the REACH Program – a program that allows patients and families to escalate concern regarding their care.
Community Health offers a five day per week service and visiting services include Physiotherapy, Radiology and a Mental Health Councillor.

Nyngan - a great place to live
The iconic town of Nyngan is located around one and a half hours from Dubbo in the centre of NSW. Nyngan sits on the Bogan River at the junction of the Mitchell and Barrier highways and is considered a rural service centre on the eastern edge of the Great Outback.
A part of the Bogan Shire, an agricultural, wool and mining region with a very productive pastoral and agricultural shire. Just outside of the town is one of the largest solar farms in the southern hemisphere.
Nyngan provides access to a great range of services including an established network of medical services and amenities, educational facilities and an impressive selection of entertainment and dining options.

There are community groups in performing arts and dance and the Nyngan & District War Memorial swimming pool has a 50m pool, children's pool, waterslide, splashpark and BBQ. There's great parks, playground and skate park to provide a place in town to meet families and participate in a range of leisure and learning activities. There are multiple places of worship in the town as well as community groups including the Country Womens Association.
Local residents and tourists can now walk, run or cycle from the MidState Shearing Shed Museum carpark to the river on a wide concrete path that is wheelchair and pram friendly. The 900m Bogan River Nature Trail along the Bogan River, with its rustic seating, games, painted rocks, metal animal and bird sculptures scattered along the trail, adds to this amazing walk through the bush. There is so much to see, hear and do along the length of the trail.
The town centre provides amenities including two supermarkets, a butcher, restaurants, club and hotel dining. There's a pharmacy, newsagency, gift shops, clothing stores, post office and two major banking outlets. A choice of professional service business are available for modern living.

Nyngan is a 1 hour and 30-minute drive from Dubbo.
