About the project
We are partnering with NBN Co to deliver fast and reliable nbn fixed wireless internet for homes and businesses around Cobar, Narromine, Nyngan, Trangie and Warren.
Over 800 premises will be eligible for connection to the new nbn fixed wireless network, with construction to commence in late 2024.
The nbn fixed wireless network will provide access to reliable broadband internet with faster download speeds, making it easier to work remotely, access digital services, connect with loved ones and stream entertainment.
The project will future-proof and improve internet connectivity for the communities along the Cobar corridor, who currently rely on satellite internet services.

Next steps
The planning and detailed design phase for this project are underway.
The project is expected be completed by the end of 2025.
