About the project
The NSW Government and Opticomm have partnered to deliver a high-speed Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) network for the communities of Gulargambone and Menindee.
As part of the $5.7 million agreement between the NSW Government and Opticomm, over 800 addresses will be eligible for connection to the new internet network. Planning is underway and more information will be provided to the community in the coming months.
The project aims to future-proof and enhance internet connectivity, helping reduce the dependence on satellite services.
Register
More than 800 homes and businesses across Gulargambone and Menindee will be eligible for a fibre internet connection, with premises along Menindee Lakes Sunset Strip also set to benefit.
Eligible residents need to register their contact details so they can be contacted by Opticomm to arrange installation at your address.
Next steps
Opticomm will commence detailed planning over the coming months and will engage with each community about when the new internet improvements will occur.
The project is expected to be completed in late 2026.
