Local health councils
We have 8 local health councils, which represent: Broken Hill, Balranald, Wilcannia, Tibooburra, Ivanhoe, Menindee, White Cliffs and Two Rivers.
Anybody in the community can apply to be a Health Councillor, and we encourage a diverse membership.
Health Councillors play an important role in bringing concerns and suggestions to us from the community. They also help keep the community up to date on our achievements and plans.
For more information, or if you are interested in joining a health council, contact:

Health council applicants will be asked to complete a Far West LHD Health Council application form (PDF 494.06KB), and go through some routine ID and security checks.
