Education support for all NSW children
The department has free resources to support the learning and development of all children in NSW. Resources are available for children and parents or carers.
Resources for children
The NSW Student learning library contains English and Mathematics K−2 learning resources. These resources are accessible for everyone.
Children registered for home schooling can use the library resources as key resources or to supplement other learning programs.
The resources are aligned with the new syllabuses and are quality-assured by educational professionals.
The department also has Wellbeing resources available.
Resources for children with additional learning needs
Every child has the right to access education. The Inclusive Practice Hub provides resources to support children with additional learning needs.
Access easy-to-download and print materials and learn from practical online resources. You can also use evidence-based strategies to support and strengthen inclusive practice in your home learning environment.
Lesson planning resources for parents or carers
The department’s teaching and learning resources can be used to help you develop an educational program that is based on NESA syllabuses. Find resources according to the key learning areas.
Parents are welcome to use the teaching and learning resources for department approved electives to support their child’s learning. However, you still need to ensure your educational program is based on NESA syllabuses and meets the minimum curriculum requirements as outlined in the Guidelines for home schooling registration.

An Early Learning Languages Australia platform aimed to inspire younger children and a genuine interest in new language and culture.
