Resources to support educational programs
You can find a range of online resources to support your child's home schooling educational program.
As a home schooling parent, you need to be able to demonstrate that the resources you use will adequately support your child's learning. This includes taking into consideration:
- your individual child’s learning needs
- the suitability of the resources to support the educational program presented.
This may include:
- NESA-developed resources
- parent-developed resources
- access to learning materials from a commercial provider
- access to tutors, subject experts or group activities
- engagement with support groups.
All of the above can also be supported by your use of:
- books
- libraries
- galleries
- theatres
- online and community resources
- other available resources.
Resources to support educational programs
NESA has compiled a list of websites that may assist home schooling parents when planning learning opportunities for their children. This list was compiled in May 2024.
Parents should include resources that support their children’s educational program.
The resources presented may or may not be based on current NESA syllabuses. Parents may use or modify resources as needed.
