Getting support
There are services to support you if you have a chronic illness. Get help at home or school, mental health support, or support if you're a carer.
Finding out you have a chronic illness can be a stressful and complex time. You may have to cope with:

- changes to your lifestyle
- difficult emotions.
After talking with your doctor about options for your health care, it can be helpful to get support so you can start to understand and come to terms with the diagnosis.

- support for students so they can continue their studies
- support for carers of those with chronic illness.
