Our District
Hunter New England LHD provides a range of public health services to the Hunter, New England and Lower Mid North Coast regions of NSW.
We provide metropolitan, regional and rural health services at:
- 1 tertiary referral hospital in Newcastle
- 4 tertiary referral hospitals at Maitland, Manning, Tamworth and Armidale
- 20 district and community hospitals
- 7 mental health inpatient facilities, and
- Over 60 community health services.
