Before you apply
The following information details how to apply for first-time accreditation in NESA's online Teacher Accreditation Management System (eTAMS).
Ensure you understand the accreditation requirements that apply to you, whether it is:

Prepare your documents
You’ll need the following documents to apply:
- certified copies of your transcripts and awards for all completed university qualifications (evidence of current enrolment does not need to be certified)
- certified copies of 3 types of identification
- a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance for paid employment issued by the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian
- evidence of successful completion of an approved English Language Proficiency Test if any part of your qualifications are from a country where English is not the main language
- an overseas criminal history check if you have resided overseas for 12 consecutive months or more in the past 5 years
- a NAATI-accredited translation of your documents and your original certified documents, if your original transcripts are not in English.

To apply for first-time accreditation you will need to create your NESA online account (eTAMS).
Follow the instructions on eTAMS on how to submit your documents and complete your application.
