About the statistics

There were 882 Top Achievers in Course results from students in 2023.

The Top Achievers in Course are the students who achieved one of the highest places in a HSC course, and achieved a result in the highest possible band (Band 6 or E4).

The maximum number of places in the Top Achievers depends on the course candidature:

• More than 10,000 students will have 20 places
• More than 1,000 students and up to 10,000 students will have 10 places
• 1,000 or fewer students will have up to 5 places.
