ATAR eligibility
This data reports on the number of students who were eligible for an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) in 2023. View the gender, location and socio-economic status of students.
About the statistics
The ATAR is a rank based on students' HSC results in a prescribed pattern of courses.
Students can choose to complete a pattern of study that will give them an ATAR. This is calculated and issued by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). A student's ATAR may include results from HSC courses completed in previous years.
