Sample scenarios
Sample scenarios show various approaches to home schooling. Look over the scenarios to get some ideas on a variety of approaches to designing an implementing educational programs.
The scenarios demonstrate different:
- home schooling approaches
- elements of home schooling requirements
- syllabuses.
You may wish to use or modify the elements of the sample scenarios that best suit your child’s needs and your own approach.
Using the scenarios
Sample scenarios are provided to show some ways parents may engage with the registration requirements. They are designed to support you as you develop and implement your educational program. Samples do not represent a full educational program.
You can use elements from any of the scenarios and modify them to suit your specific circumstances. For example, scenario 2 represents a child who has a sporting commitment. This could also apply to a child with external dance, music or religious commitments.
As long as you are meeting registration requirements, you can design, prepare and present your educational program in the way you feel best suits your family.
