Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 Enabling Works has commenced early works, including site establishment and investigation activities, at Wentworth Point and Melrose Park, setting the stage for major construction to begin later this year. In April, the boating community will see some changes to Ermington Boat Ramp and car park to enable construction activities.

As part of major construction, the project team is laying asphalt pavement on Isles Drive between Englands Road and Industrial Drive, North Boambee. To do this work we will temporarily close this area which means vehicles will need to take a detour. Isles Drive will be temporarily closed between Englands Road and Industrial Drive between 6pm and 6am. To ensure the safety of workers and motorists, there will be a temporary detour using the Pacific Highway and Isles Drive (north). Motorists should allow extra travel time, be patient and follow directions of traffic controllers.

Coffs Harbour bypass | 4 April 2025
As part of major construction, the project team is temporarily moving the Pacific Highway northbound traffic onto new lanes between Sawtell Interchange and Englands Road/Stadium Drive. The project team will make this change in traffic arrangements outside of approved construction hours before the end of May 2025. Motorists will be informed of the exact date via electronic message signs in this area.
