Stage 1
Parramatta Light Rail Stage 1 will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia with a 2-way track spanning 12km, and is expected to open in mid-2024.

Stage 2
Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 is moving ahead, with state and federal planning approval granted for this game-changing Western Sydney megaproject. Stage 2 will connect Stage 1 and the Parramatta CBD to Sydney Olympic Park via the growing communities of Camellia, Rydalmere, Ermington, Melrose Park and Wentworth Point.
