Come to Southern - Alcohol and other drugs service.
Dr Tony Gill - AOD Clinical Lead
The beauty of where we've moved to is that, it's close to Canberra, so there's a lot of those great Metropolitan things but also it's just a beautiful District.
Lisa Ferguson - Clinical Nurse Consultant
There's lots of hiking trails, lots of extracurricular activities, a good sense of community.
Tash Lutz - District Manager, Alcohol and Drugs
You get the best of both lifestyles, you get to live coastal and you get to live regional.
Nicole Jorgensen - Aboriginal Mental Health
I made the change because I needed a slower pace but I also didn't want to give up all those lovely comforts that we become accustomed to living in cities.
Tash Lutz - District Manager, Alcohol and Drugs
Our service ranges the entire Local Health District. We have teams in Bega, in the Eurobodalla region, in Goulburn and then a team here in Queanbeyan.
Damien Eggleton - District Director, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs
You can join a tight-knit collaborative, innovative team and have a tangible impact on health outcomes for your patients.

The skills that you've learned within a metropolitan setting or even in another rural and regional setting are easily transferable.
Damien Eggleton - District Director, Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs
It is a small team, it provides opportunities for us together to be leaders and to also provide real input into the directional services that you might not be able to have so much of a voice for in the city.
Tash Lutz - District Manager, Alcohol and Drugs
We're really lucky here in southern, we have brand new facilities and there's always facilities being built. We are active members of the community and of the healthcare services in designing that infrastructure and what that means for service delivery. We're able to contribute to the development of health services over the next five to ten years and that's exciting to be able to contribute to that.
AOD services is the opportunity of a lifetime. It's the opportunity to have a voice, the opportunity to make an impact. You would not regret a move to Southern.
