Connectivity solution design and experimentation
NSW Telco Authority co-designs and tests technology solutions in collaboration with industry partners to better understand how to solve statewide connectivity challenges with emerging technologies.
Our in-field experiments are conducted with Emergency Services Organisations, government agencies and/or the community to design and evaluate the suitability of connectivity solutions for specific use cases.
We aim to solve connectivity challenges across diverse geographic terrains and a variety of situations, from natural disasters to day-to-day operations where traditional means of connectivity are insufficient.
The data and insights gathered identify the most suitable technologies and inform recommendations for government investments in innovative and scalable solutions to support emergency services, government agencies and communities.
