Lola Fotheringham

Lola Fotheringham is passionate about sport, crediting it with building her confidence, developing her leadership skills and giving her courage to be the best she can be. In 2023, she was selected for a number of representative teams, both in school and community sport. In some of her school (co-ed) teams, Lola is the only girl selected.

Lola is committed to helping others. After her school introduced inclusive classes for students with autism and additional needs, Lola went above and beyond to make the new students feel welcome. She has learnt to engage with the new students using both verbal and non-verbal communication, and is an advocate for others in the playground. 

Given her passion for sport, Lola’s dream for the future is to play in the National Women’s Rugby League (NRLW) and to represent NSW and her country, while inspiring other girls to go out and achieve their dreams.
