Aarohi Bansal
Passionate about supporting the community, Aarohi Bansal amassing 160 volunteering hours in 2023. Her volunteer roles have included working with Special Olympics Australia, conducting food drives for homeless shelters and Foodbank, and fundraising for the Kids’ Cancer Project.
Aarohi’s conceptualisation on wellness for women was published in the UN Youth NSW’s The Global Advocate magazine. She has participated in the Harvard Model United Nations, and took part in a project to paint portraits to show support for orphaned children in Afghanistan for global non-profit The Memory Project. She has also co-founded a War on Waste organisation at her school, to inform children about food waste through short films and fundraisers.
Aarohi’s leadership roles have included being a member of the Northern Beaches Youth Advisory Council, a shortlisted member of the Skills and Pathways Youth Advisory Council NSW, a member of her school’s Student Representative Council and House Captain. She has also completed her Lance Corporal course at Australian Army Cadets, allowing her to give back through Anzac Day services. In 2019, Aarohi was awarded the prestigious William Langston Epping Memorial Scholarship, recognising her service towards her school community.
