Companies Electronic Nominations user guide
Electronic Nominations (eNominations) allow companies to name the driver(s) or company(s) responsible for transferrable offences via secure web access on the Revenue NSW website.
How to register for eNominations
To register and use the eNominations portal, customers will need to login using the NSW Government Okta platform for user verification. Okta provides a two-step verification process to increase security when accessing eNominations accounts online.
All new and existing eNominations account holders will be sent a ‘Welcome’ email from NSW Okta (noreply@okta.com) with instructions on how to activate their Okta account.
- Interested companies must email an enquiry to enoms@revenue.nsw.gov.au for consideration. If they qualify they will be registered for an eNominations account.
- Visit the eNominations portal and follow the instructions to create an account.
- The first time you login to Okta, you will be asked to activate your account and create a password.
- Select which security method(s) you would like for your account. Options include: Google Authenticator, Okta Verify, or Phone.
Logging into the eNominations portal
- Log into the eNominations portal using your email address and password.
- You will be sent a verification code which was emailed to you when you registered (sent from: noreply@okta.com).
- Your username will be the email address linked to your eNominations account, and not your eNominations ID number.
Review your fine(s)
Review the fine(s) you wish to lodge a nomination for by filtering the notices using the following details:
- Fine notice number: the unique 10-digit identifier for each Fine notice
- Offence date: the date the offence occurred
- Vehicle registration No.: search using the registration of the vehicle
- Status date: date on which the most recent status update occurred (e.g. the date the Fine notice was created – may not be the same as the offence date)
- Outstanding: Fine notices for which no eNomination has been received or processed. These require your attention
Alternatively, you can also filter fine notice(s) by status:
- Pending: a eNomination has been lodged and is pending action
- Rejected: the original eNomination has been declined and a new one is needed
- Completed: your eNomination was successful and liability is transferred to the nominee
- Withdrawn: no eNomination is required, as the Fine notice has been withdrawn
- Removed: Revenue NSW has removed that Fine notice from the eNominations list
- Unavailable: a nomination was not received in time and the Fine notice is now an 'Overdue Fine’.
Please refer to for further information and options for overdue fines.
Lodge your eNominations
Once you have logged in you will see the Home Screen which lists your company’s fine notices.
- Select the relevant fine notice’s hyperlink, or you can enter and search for a specific fine notice.
- If nominating an individual: select the ‘individual’ option and enter the nominee’s details, e.g name, date of birth, licence number, and state of issue.
- After completing the form click ‘Submit’
- Nominate an organisation: choose the ‘organisation’ option and enter the nominee details e.g. name, address, phone number etc.
- After completing the form select ‘Submit’
Please note: if you cannot complete the mandatory fields you will need to complete and submit a correctly completed statutory declaration form (PDF 825.79KB). These are available on our website.
Multiple nominations
To lodge multiple nominations you will need to upload a spreadsheet (Excel etc.) saved as a csv file (e.g -mycompanyspreadsheet.csv) to the eNominations website.
- Download a copy of your outstanding fines or enforcement orders from the eNominations homepage.
- Complete the spreadsheet with the required fields as seen below, but you must not edit the top row as this will cause the file to fail when you attempt to upload it back to us.
- Once you have edited your csv file you can re-upload it on your eNominations.
Please note: If you have edited the csv file correctly, your nominations will be processed in real time and the status of the fine(s) will be updated.
Frequently asked questions
Your eNoms account will show only those fines which can be nominated.
Fines that are issued on-the-spot, cannot be transferred and remain the responsibility of the company.

Your company will be contacted to provide a statutory declaration (PDF 825.79KB) if the person nominated, elects to take the matter to court.
Fines of up to $22,000 can be issued to a company for falsely nominating a person.
If you have made a mistake, you can retract your nomination.
If you need to retract your nomination, please download and complete the statutory declaration form and email to: enoms@revenue.nsw.gov.au advising the previous nomination was made in error.
Please note: retractions cannot be completed online.
Companies can still receive paper-based fine notices and fine reminder notices via mail, or alternatively you can elect to have them emailed.
