Grants NAIDOC Week community celebrations

The NSW Government is providing $250,000 to support local communities and organisations with celebrating NAIDOC Week from 7 to 14 July. The Aboriginal Affairs 2024 NAIDOC Grants Program enables communities to hold activities that recognise and celebrate the histories, cultures, achievement and ongoing contributions of Aboriginal people.

2024 NAIDOC Grants

Funding is for the hosting of activities and events for NAIDOC Week that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements, and align with the theme of NAIDOC Week in 2024.

2023-2024 Community and Place Grants Program

The Program aims to deliver tangible local benefit and impact to Aboriginal communities against the Closing the Gap socio-economic outcome targets

The program aims to enable discrete Aboriginal Communities in Northern NSW to develop emergency management plans and implement emergency management initiatives to build resilience to bushfires, floods, storms and pandemics.
