When you receive Aboriginal Affairs NSW grants and funding, it's important to acknowledge Aboriginal Affairs NSW in promotional activities related to your project, event, outcome.
We'll also contact you about reporting on your outcomes and acknowledging the support of Aboriginal Affairs NSW. Here's a summary of when and how to acknowledge our organisation.
If you’re printing anything related to your funded project, you need to add this line:
“Proudly supported by Aboriginal Affairs NSW.”
Most printed publications also require the Aboriginal Affairs NSW logo (following is example only). See the Logo guidelines further down this page.
Include the acknowledgment statement in any press releases “Proudly supported by Aboriginal Affairs NSW.”
Use the following statement to verbally acknowledge the support of Aboriginal Affairs NSW:
“On behalf of (group/organisation) we would like to acknowledge the support of Aboriginal Affairs NSW”
Use the verbal, spoken acknowledgement, “On behalf of (group/organisation) we would like to acknowledge the support of Aboriginal Affairs NSW”
We'll provide you with a CMYK jpeg (full colour) logo if you're an approved grant recipient. If you need the logo in a different format contact us at comms@aboriginalaffairs.nsw.gov.au
The Aboriginal Affairs NSW logo consists of the NSW Government Waratah logo and the Aboriginal Affairs NSW hand logo. This should not be separated, cropped, scaled disproportionately or altered.
The area around the logo must be kept clear and the minimum logo size is 15mm or 45 pixels high.
For more about correct use of the logo, see the Aboriginal Affairs NSW Corporate Brand Identity Guidelines. This includes which colour version to use, background colours and minimum size.
