What is the Strata Hub

The Strata Hub is a digital platform that centralises key information for people who live, own, build or work in strata schemes in NSW. This includes residents, owners corporations, strata managers and developers.

Discover the latest features and functionality added to the Strata Hub

We make regular updates to improve the Strata Hub. Our latest update took place on 10 December 2024. 

Highlights include: 

  • an expanded public Strata search that lets you find out a scheme’s strata managing agent
  • new features within the Strata Hub itself, such as a new library available to anyone who registers to use the Strata Hub
  • a ‘transfer strata manager’ process making it easier to transition access to information of a scheme in the Strata Hub to an incoming strata managing agent 
  • a software integration solution for local councils to access certain Strata Hub data for strata schemes in their local government area
  • a software update for strata managers to retrieve data from the Strata Hub before they begin their reporting.

How to register for the Strata Hub

How to register

You will need an online Service NSW account to register for the Strata Hub. If you do not have a MyService NSW account, visit Service NSW to create one.

  1. Visit the Strata Hub registration page.
  2. Read and accept the privacy notice.
  3. Enter your personal details and select a temporary password.
  4. Enter your username (your email address) and temporary password on the login screen.
  5. Verify your email address.
    A verification code will be sent to the email you used to register. It can take a few minutes to arrive. If you can’t find it, check your spam and junk email folders.
  6. Create your new password.
    You will need to use your new password when you login to the Strata Hub. Make sure it’s a password you will remember. But don’t worry if you forget your password, you can always follow the steps to reset it.

How to set up your profile

  1. Select ‘go to my profile’ or select the profile button on the left-hand menu.
  2. If you are a strata manager, enter your licence details in the ‘Strata managing agent details’ section.
  3. Under the 'identification details' section, click 'verify now'.
    You will be redirected to the MyServiceNSW login screen. Follow the prompts to verify your identity. Once you are done, you will be returned to the Strata Hub.

If you have trouble registering for the Strata Hub, check that: 

  • you have access to the inbox of the email you are using for registration
  • you don’t have the registration page open in another browser or device
  • you have a unique password and enter it straight after completing the registration.

If you still have issues registering, clear your web cookies and browser history. For instructions, type ‘clear web cookies’ or ‘clear browser history’ into your search engine.

Start your strata annual reporting

After you have registered, you can start your strata annual reporting. Read our step by step instructions that strata committees and managers can take to complete their strata annual reporting

Yes, however we recommend using a desktop for the best user experience. 

The preferred browsers are Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge. Windows Internet Explorer is not supported.

  • Ensure you have access to the inbox of the email you are using for registration.
  • Make sure you don’t have the registration page open in another browser or device.
  • Select a unique password and enter it exactly when completing the registration process.

If you still have issues registering, please clear your web cookies/browser history. For instructions, type ‘clear web cookies’ or ‘clear browser history’ into your search engine.

You will need a MyServiceNSW to complete your proof of identity. If you don’t have one, you can create it during the proof of identity process. 

Tip: Having your MyServiceNSW login details ready will help you quickly complete your proof of identity. 

During the registration process where you are proving your identity, you will receive a verification code to your MyServiceNSW account email address. If you do not receive the email:

  • make sure it hasn’t gone to your junk or spam folders
  • read the onscreen message carefully to check the email address the verification code is being sent to
  • check if you have a different email address for your Strata Hub and MyServiceNSW accounts.

If you fall under the Strata building bond and inspections scheme (SBBIS) for new apartments, you will have access to the SBBIS application in the strata hub. 

To switch views between SBBIS and the reporting for strata schemes, you’ll need to request access to ‘Strata scheme reporting’ application. To do this:

  1. Log into the Strata Hub.
  2. Select the ‘My profile’ icon on the left-hand panel.
  3. Under the ‘Application access’ heading, select ‘request application access’.
  4. Choose ‘Strata scheme reporting’ then select ‘Continue’. 

Once you have access to both applications, you can select which opens when you log in. To set or change your default view:

  1. Select the ‘My profile’ icon from the left-hand panel.
  2. Under the ‘Application access heading’, select ‘Set default application’ and make your selection.

When you next log in, your application preference will display.

When you register to use the Strata Hub, you will be asked to read and agree to a privacy collection notice. You will also be asked to read and agree to the privacy collection notice for your role when you report a scheme. 

These privacy collection notices may be updated from time to time.
