Applications and templates identify the policies and documents that school providers need to apply to offer courses for overseas students. Find the templates and how to complete them.

The Guidelines

The requirements for school provider approval are detailed in the Guidelines for approved NSW school providers delivering courses to overseas students (the Guidelines).

The Guidelines provide a full description of the requirements. Access RANGS Online to make applications or notify NESA of changes to an existing school provider.

Proformas

Proformas for document audits have been developed to help school providers or proposed school providers identify the:

  • policies, procedures and documentation necessary for initial approval
  • documentation to be maintained during any period of approval to demonstrate compliance with the requirements.

The proformas list the required documentation as detailed in the Guidelines.

Once completed, the proforma provides a useful checklist and a record of the location of the school provider’s policies and procedures.

It is not mandatory for schools to use the proformas.

Template

A Template - statutory declaration by PEO of school provider (DOCX 72.31KB) is available for the Principal Executive Officer (PEO). A copy must be maintained by the school provider and may be requested when making an application or notifying NESA of a change of PEO.
