Results Analysis Package (RAP)
Gain insight into your school's HSC performance with detailed results data and analysis tools.
About RAP
The data in the Results Analysis Package (RAP) enables teachers to compare their school's performance to the performance of the whole state candidature by:
- whole course mark/performance band
- specific question (item analysis).
The RAP also provides schools with historical data about:
- grading patterns for Stage 5, Preliminary and HSC English Studies and Mathematics Standard 1 courses
- HSC minimum standard performance.
Help resources
Resources are available to help you interpret RAP data. You can find them in the ‘memos and documents’ section of Schools Online.
Automatic subscription
NESA will provide an automatic subscription to RAP for all schools yearly.
The RAP subscription gives schools access to all enhancements as well as data dating back to 2001 for many courses.
HSC examination data will be available when the HSC results are released.
Access
Your principal (or delegate) needs to give you access to the RAP functions through 'Work with Staff Profiles' on Schools Online. If you can't see some functions, check your principal or delegate has given you access to all the RAP functions.
