Win with ‘Love your Local’ along the Parramatta Light Rail route

As part of Transport for NSW’s ongoing commitment to boost local economies during the delivery of the light rail, Parramatta Light Rail is giving you the chance to win 1 of 60 $100 vouchers from a participating local business.

Timed with the spring school holidays, this six-week campaign runs from 20 September 2024 until 1 November 2024 and offers the perfect opportunity to bring the family out, discover and support local businesses. 

To enter:

1. Visit your favourite local business along the Parramatta Light Rail alignment between Westmead and Carlingford
2. Take a photo of, or a selfie with, your favourite local business
3. Email us your photo and the business name to activateparramatta@transport.nsw.gov.au 
4. Tell us in a few words why you love your local business so much.

‘Love your Local’ builds on the momentum created by previous business support initiatives, including ‘Activate Parramatta’ and the recent ‘2024 Restaurant Guide – Dine and Win’, which supported over 60 local businesses in Parramatta’s Church Street precinct. 

Final preparations for passenger services are underway, with trams being tested seven days a week in both directions from 5am to 1am. Keep an eye out and remember to stop, listen, and look around when near the light rail tracks.
