The Tumbarumba Multipurpose Service provides 24-hour accident and emergency and has both hospital care and residential aged care beds.
Our servicesThe Tumbarumba community health services include generalist community nursing, child and family health, physical activity groups, and a centre based day care. In addition there are a number of visiting services including a school dental service, dietitian, mental health/ drug and alcohol, radiography, physiotherapy, women’s health, speech pathology and occupational therapy. | |

Location
Tumbarumba is a small town located on the western edge of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales with Kosciuszko National Park to the East and the Murray River to the South. The Selwyn Snowfields are also located only one hour away.
With a population of just under 3,500 residents, there is a public and catholic primary school, a high school, child care facilities and before and after school care. Tumbarumba is perfect for people who love an active outdoor lifestyle and enjoy activities such as bush walking, horse riding, skiing, fishing and cycling.
Getting there
Tumbarumba is about 1.5 hours south east of Wagga Wagga. It is about a 3 hours' drive from Canberra and 5.5 hours' drive from Sydney.
A CountryLink coach service operates six days per week to and from Tumbarumba, connecting to rail services destined for both Sydney and Melbourne via Cootamundra. There is also a coach service to and from Wagga Wagga three days per week. Qantaslink and Rex Airlines operate direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Wagga Wagga Airport on a daily basis.
