How this service helps you
We're here to help when things get really tough, and you feel overwhelmed and alone. You might feel like you're losing confidence or think you're not important. Feeling very upset, helpless, or defenceless is okay too. Some people might have new or worrying feelings, or things might be getting worse if they've been around for a while.
Talking to a trained professional can help you figure out and work through these issues that are making life hard.
We know that mental and emotional wellbeing is important for good health, and we can provide counselling for specific problems.

If you've experienced domestic violence, now or in the past, you can reach out to the Community Care Intake Service at 1800 654 324 to talk about your needs and options. We're here to assist you. In emergencies, call 000.
Domestic and family violence includes any hurtful or threatening behaviour in a close or family relationship, making someone live in fear.
If you live together in a house, a care facility, or depend on someone for care, you're in a relationship with them. If there are hurtful and controlling actions in these relationships, it's also called family violence.
In Aboriginal communities, we prefer to use the term "family violence" because it more accurately represents the connections and extended relationships within the Aboriginal community.
How this service helps you
We have different services to help people going through domestic violence, and we have experienced psychologists, counsellors, and social workers on our team.
We can offer counselling, help you speak up for yourself, connect you with other services, and provide support for those dealing with domestic violence, whether it happened recently or in the past. We help people of all ages and genders.
If you've been a victim of domestic violence in the last 12 months, you'll get a priority appointment. And even if past experiences are affecting you now, you can still reach out to us.
