Our team offers mental health support, aged care, child and family health, and allied health services. We focus on patient-centred care, making healthcare accessible and welcoming for everyone in Bulahdelah.
Our services
Bulahdelah Community Health Service provides a range of healthcare services including, aged care, counselling, child and family health, diabetes, mental health services, paediatric physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy, women's health, visiting GP and dietician. Our facility is a nurse led clinic that is open 7 days a week and provides wound dressing, patient transfer, tirage, foetal monitoring and other healthcare services to support our local community.
Visiting GP services: Monday - Thursday and most Saturdays.
Location
Bulahdelah - meaning ‘the meeting place of two rivers’ in the local Indigenous language, the sleepy hinterland town of Bulahdelah’s connection to surrounding waterways runs deep. A gateway to the Myall Lakes and more than 40 beautiful beaches in the Myall Lakes National Park, which is an incredible spot for kayaking, walking and fishing. It’s also home to the Grandis, the tallest tree in NSW. The flooded gum is over 400 years old and over 70 metres tall. The park also has beautiful wide sandy beaches and fantastic swimming spots, it's the perfect place to get back to nature.
Getting there
Bulahdelah is just over a 2.5-hour drive north of Sydney and a 55-minute drive from Newcastle airport, which services all the major Australian cities. Coaches and trains also run from Sydney, via Newcastle.
