Understanding Payment to Consumers
Payment is the money you might get for joining and taking part in one of our committees or helping out with a project at our hospitals or services in the Hunter New England Local Health District.
Why Do We Offer Payment?
We offer payment to say thank you for the time and effort you put into helping us. When you join a committee or work with us on projects, it helps us make things better. Your feedback is important, and we want to show our appreciation for your support and involvement in our community.
What Does Payment Look Like?
Payment is given as money that goes straight into your bank account.
How Does It Work?
If you join certain activities or work on projects to improve our services, you might get paid. We'll let you know if you'll get paid, how much, and when. One of the staff members from Hunter New England Local Health District, who you are working with, will provide more information to you and assist with any paperwork required.
