What does independence look like to you?

In out-of-home care? About to leave care?

Your leaving care or 'future' plan is tailored to help you work towards your goals.

Your plan can help you figure out how you will get a job, pay for uni or TAFE, get help with your mental health and wellbeing, move out, counselling, or learn some new life skills like driving or cooking.

Whatever your plan is your caseworker and those important to you can help you work towards it. You can start planning for independence from 15. This gives you time to figure out what you would like for your future and the steps that will get you there.
