3G closure extension
The upcoming closure of the 3G network Australia-wide, by telecommunications carriers, Telstra and Optus has been extended until 28 October 2024. All 3G devices and some older 4G devices will be impacted by the 3G closure, including mobile phones and other devices, such as personal medical alarms, smart watches and security systems.
