NSW Reconstruction Authority – our work

We’re here to support people who are recovering from, or at risk of, natural disasters.

About how we work

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a state-wide organisation. We have a centralised team overseeing major projects, and far-reaching regional teams who are active in their communities across NSW.

The critical work and collective efforts of multiple teams provides important opportunities to learn from a broad range of experiences. We're then able to help communities prepare for future disasters and recover and more effectively rebuild.

NSW Reconstruction Authority Awards

The NSW Government Get Ready Community Award and Resilient Australia Awards recognise resilience-building initiatives and celebrate community spirit, collaboration and innovative thinking.
