There are more reasons to enjoy an open NSW this summer, with two more $25 Dine & Discover vouchers on offer to eligible residents.
The vouchers will provide a needed boost for businesses across NSW as the state heads into a revitalised 2022, after COVID-19 lockdowns.
The initiative is part of NSW’s $2.8 million economic recovery package, and so far, more than 15,000 businesses and 4.8 million customers have registered for the Dine & Discover NSW program.
Minister for Digital and Customer Service Victor Dominello said the new Dine & Discover NSW vouchers will start appearing in the Service NSW app from Friday 26 November.
“We have made receiving vouchers for individuals even easier, with the additional vouchers appearing automatically in the Service NSW app, via SMS or email for existing digital customers,” Mr Dominello said.
“Whether it’s going out for dinner, catching a live show, or visiting a wildlife park, we’re helping more and more people explore our great backyard while supporting businesses who have done it tough this year.”
Customers who don’t have access to the digital vouchers can opt-in by calling Service NSW on 13 77 88 from Friday 3 December, and can collect their paper vouchers from their nominated service centre.
Dine & Discover NSW vouchers can be used seven days a week, including public holidays, and are valid until 30 June 2022.
In a world first, the NSW Government has developed two mobile apps in partnership with Deakin University and the University of Auckland to encourage people to gamble responsibly and access support for problem gambling.
More than one million plant specimens kept for research by leading scientists will be housed at a recently opened herbarium facility at the Australian Botanic Garden in Mount Annan.
