Reasons we may consider leniency

• There was an error and my vehicle was not in the location at the time of this offence
• I am a non-smoker and have been fined for tossing a cigarette from a vehicle.

Evidence required

This may include, but is not limited to:

• evidence supporting you were not in the location at the time of the offence
• an event number from the police for a report of stolen identity or loss of wallet.

If you claim that you are not responsible because you do not smoke, please provide evidence from your doctor confirming your status as a non-smoker. 

Reasons we may not consider leniency

• This is my first offence
• I was not stopped by the police
• I do not recall the offence.

• I did not commit the offence and believe another person has used my identity.
