Parole Procedure

This procedure sets out the steps and processes involved in preparing for a young person’s release on parole and managing their parole supervision in the community.

The steps involved in this procedure are:

  • monitoring dates for parole
  • discharge planning
  • completing required reports
  • pre-release (discharge) or parole case conference 
  • preparation for release from custody 
  • managing parole supervision in the community.
