Canowindra Health Service includes the Canowindra Soldiers Memorial Hospital, emergency department, inpatient beds, as well as community health services.

Outpatient primary and community care services include physiotherapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, falls prevention and physical stability group programs which make use of the gymnasium area and local swimming pool
Community health services include in-home visits, clinics and outpatient consultations for a variety of services including occupational therapy, physiotherapy, diet and nutrition, social work, community nursing, speech therapy, and child and family health
Visiting services include women’s health, drug and alcohol services, mental health, community outreach and geriatrics
A private GP practice is also on-site.
