If you are in a non-school/service based role (including in a non-teaching role in a school or service), you may continue to maintain your HALT accreditation if your:
Your employment type determines how long you have to meet your maintenance requirements.
If your employment status changes, you may be able to adjust your maintenance timeframe from 5 to 7 years. You will need to provide evidence of the change to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
To maintain HALT accreditation, follow the procedures below. They should be read in conjunction with your employer's internal procedures.
