Building a portfolio
Students wanting to showcase more than just grades can make an online portfolio to highlight their extracurricular activities and achievements.
Extra-curricular activities
Many employers and education providers are interested in more than just a student's grades.
The up2now website is a space for students to present their broader learning and activities. Students can create portfolios, resumes and more. Students can also share these when looking for work and further education opportunities.
up2now
The up2now website is an online tool. Schools can add students who can then use it as an ongoing portfolio of their skills and achievements.
Students can present:
- awards and achievements in and outside of school
- community service and volunteering to show dedication to helping others
- artwork showcase to display creative talent
- resumes to build a professional profile.
Students can then:
- create multiple portfolios to tailor their presentations
- share these portfolios with potential employers as a PDF or web link.
Teachers can:
- assist students planning to leave school before the Higher School Certificate.
- use up2now as a teaching tool for vocational subjects.
How to register for up2now
Only schools can register for up2now. Once registered, schools will receive information on enrolling students.
If you are a student and wish to register for an up2now account, contact your school.
