1.3 What is all my own work?
Academic honesty recognises the hard work and efforts of yourself and others.
When you say that something is all your own work and don’t acknowledge anyone else’s input, you’re saying that the work is all your own original ideas.
When you submit your work to be marked, whether it’s a written or practical task, it’s important that you’re being marked only on your own work.
That’s why it’s so important that the work you submit reflects your hard work and unique ideas. It’s your opportunity to show what you’ve learned and celebrate your effort.
You deserve to be recognised for your own work.
