Improving walking and riding amenities at schools

What will change at schools?

Transport for NSW is providing schools with funding for new amenities on school grounds such as bike and scooter racks and repair stations. This will make it easier and more convenient for kids to securely store their bikes, scooters and skateboards while they are at school.

More funding for school amenities

We’re working with the Department of Education to review current provisions and what we can do to improve amenities for active travel at nominated schools. We’ll work directly with each school to understand what's needed to make it easier for kids to store equipment securely on school grounds. More information will be available here soon.
