Frequently asked questions
Sector Link allows you to use your regular government agency log-in credentials to sign in to applications and services hosted in Sector Link – without needing to manage a separate username and password.
If you’re a first-time user, and you aren't sure if you are registered with Sector Link, you can sign up here by following the steps below Register a Sector Link account to register your account using your NSW Government login.
If your email address ends with ‘.nsw.gov.au’, or ‘.nsw.edu.au’, you can self-register for Sector Link.
If your email address does not match the above formats, you can contact Premier's Department to be added to Sector Link and assigned appropriate access by submitting a request.
You can use your existing NSW employee account – including username, password and multi-factor authentication (MFA) – for a seamless sign-on experience in Sector Link.
Agencies are integrated with Sector Link to automatically recognise your credentials.
If you require assistance with onboarding your agency with Sector Link, please contact Premier's Department by submitting a request.
You can access applications through the Sector Link MyApps portal, or from agency applications integrated with Sector Link.
You can access any application that’s been integrated with Sector Link and where you have been granted access by the Application Owner.
Sector Link is free for users to access applications, but there is a small cost to onboard applications if you are an app owner.
Register a Sector Link account
To register an account, follow the steps in the guide below using your existing NSW Government login.
Sign up
Go to the Sector Link webpage and click on the Login button on the right-hand side of the page.
Enter your email address
Enter your email address, or select your account from the list.
NSW Account recognised
If your account is recognised, you will be logged in – go to step 8. Alternatively, click the blue text that says “create a new one”.
Enter NSW email address
Enter your existing government email address and password to sign in.
Permissions required
Sector Link will request the permissions required to create an account, click Accept.
Confirm email
Confirm your email address, then click Continue.
Review and Accept Terms of Use
Click the right arrow to expand, review and accept the NSW Government Sector Link Terms of Use.
Sign up complete
Sign up is complete when you land on the My Apps dashboard.
