Sector Link is a digital identity provider and hosting platform that allows NSW Government employees to access sector-wide government applications using their existing agency or department credentials. This provides an improved user experience while enhancing security, as users don’t need to create multiple accounts for different applications.
Sector Link enables secure, cross-agency and external collaboration to sector wide applications using existing Microsoft technologies. It trusts the multi-factor authentication (MFA) configuration from integrated home agencies, eliminating the need for additional set-up while maintaining the same level of security.
Sector Link allows agencies and departments to maintain control over their existing environments, with users automatically synchronised to Sector Link as they are onboarded and offboarded from home systems.
