Raymond Terrace is a rural service district set on the banks of the Hunter River and further north along the Williams River.

Raymond Terrace, is about 26 km by road north of Newcastle and about 170 km north of Sydney. Raymond Terrace is also accessible by train and bus with services available from both Sydney and Newcastle.
