SAHF program update
Latest updates on the Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF) program including delivering access to additional social and affordable homes across the state and meeting targets in regional NSW.
The Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF) program is expected to deliver access to 3,486 additional social and affordable homes across the state by the end of 2024, with a target of 30% of all homes to be delivered in regional NSW.
November 2024
As of 30 November 2024, SAHF providers have delivered 3,425 new social and affordable homes across NSW.

SAHF providers report that 95% of dwellings delivered under the SAHF meet the Liveable Housing Australia (LHA) guidelines – Silver standard.
70% of tenancies have been allocated to eligible social housing applicants from the NSW Housing Register. It should be noted that tenancies may include multiple or single residents.
