The roadshow will include sessions at the TAFE Nowra Campus, Shoalhaven River College, Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services Centre and Nowra Library.
NSW Fair Trading will run:
- a forum on renters’ rights and cost of living at TAFE Nowra Campus,
- consumer rights sessions at Shoalhaven River College, Shoalhaven Neighbourhood Services Centre and Nowra Library,
- information session on the Australian Consumer Law for NDIS Local Area Coordinators and disability service providers at TAFE Nowra Campus
- a session on shopping rights for the multicultural students in the English Learning Class at TAFE Nowra Campus, and
- a virtual consumer rights session for students of the TAFE Indigenous Police Recruitment Our Way Delivery Program.
NSW Fair Trading inspectors will also undertake compliance inspection programs to look at the licensing of businesses in the motor industry in the region.
