Join the Sound NSW Advisory Board and help set the tone for the state’s music industry

The Sound NSW Advisory Board provides independent expert advice to assist the NSW Government in addressing issues and opportunities for the contemporary music industry to ensure the delivery of positive outcomes for artists and audiences.

The Board will also provide advice to support the implementation of the state’s new 10-year Contemporary Music Strategy.

“The Sound NSW Advisory Board plays an important role in advising the NSW Government on matters impacting the contemporary music industry and proposing opportunities and strategies where we can enhance our support.

“We are calling for applications from music industry professionals across NSW to join our Board, and encourage artists, songwriters, managers and venues owners and those working in music businesses and organisations to submit their Expression of Interest.

“It’s an exciting time to join the Board following the launch of the state’s first ever 10-year Contemporary Music Strategy this month, and a terrific opportunity to help shape and contribute to the sector in NSW.”
