Janine Farah
Inspired by the transformative impact of innovative, female-led community work, Janine currently serves as the NSW/ACT Regional Manager at Young Change Agents.
Janine’s career began within various youth-led organisations concentrating on educating and motivating young people to actively participate in social and environmental impact work.
Moving into peacebuilding with the Initiatives of Change organisation, Janine delivered global women’s peacebuilding workshops, including conflict mediation, developing reconciliation skills, fostering community building through dialogue and storytelling. Janine facilitated sessions with an international network of female peacebuilders to provide updates about the work being done in their respective communities.
Janine currently serves as the NSW/ACT Regional Manager at Young Change Agents and has led projects such as the Academy for Enterprising Girls and Accelerator for Enterprising Women. She works to actively empower women and girls to create self-made career paths, pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career choice and to ensure Australian women have the skills required to transform the industries in which they work.
Janine’s work has reached over 7000 women and girls from diverse communities since 2021. She is driven to continue cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among women and girls, and foster innovation, resilience, and adaptability. She actively works towards shaping a future where women are empowered to drive positive transformations in the dynamic landscape of industries, communities, and entrepreneurship.
