Overview of this event
Why are rovers used for off Earth exploration? Ponder this and more while designing your own rover in this full day workshop.
Be inspired by plans for Australia's first lunar surface rover, ELO2 Roo-ver, which is set to head to the moon onboard Artemis 3 in 2027 while being guided by mentors from the Sydney Interplanetary Rover Initiative team. Participants will also learn about the history of rovers, engage with rovers from the Powerhouse Collection and put their problem-solving skills to use in a hackathon to develop solutions for scenarios based on the Australian Rover Challenge.
