Dane Simpson has spent years travelling the country and the globe watching and performing at all sorts of comedy clubs. One of his favourites is a Gong Show. So, he's decided to bring it to the Wagga Comedy Fest.
You're probably asking yourself, what is a 'Gong Show'? Well, have you ever been to open-mic comedy and you really wish they'd just get to the point? The Gong Show has answered your prayers.
Here's how it works: Each local comedian gets four minutes to impress the crowd. Each member of the crowd gets a paddle. If you don't like what you hear, you can place your paddle in the air and that comedian gets gonged off. The last comedian standing wins a very sought-after prize! Gotta risk it for the biscuit.
