The Burley Griffin Community Gardens is home to the Stuart McWilliam Community Stage. Named after Stuart McWilliam whose involvement in the Griffith community spanned many years and countless organisations.
With a beautiful backdrop of the main canal which winds its way through the city, spectacular gardens and shade trees, the Stuart McWilliam Community Stage precinct can cater for various events, stage performances and festivals.
The Stuart McWilliam Community Stage is available for concerts and performances with technical lighting and audio equipment available if required. The stage has all lighting, audio and power capabilities.
The gardens are a lovely spot to take a stroll and provide areas for contemplation beside the canal, for adventure the cliff face and lookout, for enjoyment of indigenous plant communities and for large outdoor activities the piazza, amphitheatre and stage.
